Recently, Golden Energix officially signed a microgrid project contract with a prominent cement plant in the Republic of Mali.
This project provides an advanced energy storage microgrid solution for a local cement plant in Mali, enabling efficient and green power usage. Integrating a 6.9 MW/16.7 MWh energy storage system, 10 MW of solar PV, and diesel generators—and utilizing our zero-second switching technology—the project marks another significant breakthrough for Golden Energix in the fields of green energy and energy storage microgrids.
Technical Advantages:
1.Zero-second seamless switching technology.Instantaneous switching between the grid and the backup power supply ensures an uninterrupted power flow to the cement plant, free from voltage fluctuations. This technology eliminates the risk of power outages associated with conventional systems, guarantees the continuous and stable operation of production lines, and enhances overall operational reliability.
2.Coordinated Optimization of Photovoltaics and Energy Storage.Photovoltaic modules supply renewable energy to the cement plant during the day, while the energy storage system takes over power supply at night or during periods of high load, thereby maximizing renewable energy utilization and reducing reliance on diesel power generation.
3.Intelligent Energy Management System (EMS).Through remote monitoring and control, the EMS intelligently adjusts loads, optimizes the operation of energy storage and power generation equipment, enhances energy utilization efficiency, and reduces operating costs.
Project Status:
Equipment manufacturing is complete, and preparations are underway for integrated equipment testing at the Golden Energix plant.
